  sports_martial_artsShindō Musō-ryū Confirmed

  Confirmed

Both interviews state that Jigoro Kano arranged his study of Shindo Muso-ryu jojutsu with Shimizu; the Japanese Wikipedia article confirms the teacher as Shimizu Takaji (the interviews' 'Koji' is a misrendering) and dates the study to 1930; the period end is estimated from his 1931 departure for Shizuoka

The evidence establishes the claim: it is sufficient and consistent, and any conflicting evidence is resolved.
