Tokashiki Iken's research identifies Xie Zongxiang with Ryū Ryū Ko, and both
Wikidata entities share identical birth/death dates (1852-1930); the
identification is disputed by the Fuzhou Wushu Association, so this is a
hypothesis, not a settled identity
"Historical records provided by the Fuzhou Wushu Association show that Xie
Zhong Xiang was not of aristocratic birth and never had to hide his identity.
Xie Zhong Xiang worked as an apprentice shoe-maker in Fuzhou until he was 30
when he started his own martial art school."

Tokashiki Iken's research identifies Ryū Ryū Ko with Xie Zongxiang (謝宗祥/謝崇祥)
of Changle, Fujian, and both Wikidata entities share identical birth/death dates
(1852-1930); however the identification is disputed by the Fuzhou Wushu
Association and by Konjokrad's research pointing to Liu Long Gong, so this
is a hypothesis, not a settled identity
"The research of Tokashiki Iken indicates that he also went by the name of
Xie Zhongxiang (謝宗祥), a man born in Changle, Fujian. Fuzhou Wushu Association
has issued a statement disputing the results of Tokashiki Iken's research
regarding Ryu Ryu Ko."
