Description
Norwegian generalmajor who participated in the fighting in 1940 and was
attached to Milorg until fleeing to Sweden in 1943. He taught close-combat
techniques including jujutsu grips to Milorg members during the war, including
Henrik Lundh.

Lundh stated in a 1974 interview that he learned jujutsu in Milorg with
"Ingebrikt Solem" as his instructor, very likely generalmajor
Ingebrigt Solum (1919-1996) who was attached to Milorg. Name spelling varies in
sources.
