Reprint of an interview with Taro Miyake originally published in the Sunday Times (3 September 1905), hosted by the Bartitsu Society. Names three of Miyake's instructors - Tanabe, Uyemura and Handa - and records his 1904 defeat of Yukio Tani and the founding of the Japanese School of Jujutsu on Oxford Street.
