Biography of Ōshima Jikita (1889-1939), abridged and loosely translated mainly from Ozawa Takashi, Kinsei kengōden (1989), with the Kendōka shashin meikan (1925): Bujutsu Kyōin Yōseijo 1906 under Naitō Takaharu and Monna Tadashi, kyōshi 1919, the move to Tokyo in 1920, the Kenbukan dojo of 1927, death in 1939.
