Pao Chui (Cannon Fist) is a northern Chinese Long Fist (Changquan) martial art known for its explosive, powerful techniques. The name refers to the characteristic 'cannon-like' force of its strikes. Pao Chui emphasizes rapid-fire combinations, grounded stances, and sudden bursts of power from a stable base. It is one of the three major Changquan families alongside Chaquan and Huaquan. The style's core curriculum includes multiple numbered forms. Pao Chui was one of the foundational influences on modern competition wushu Changquan and remains practiced as a standalone art.
