Description

Karate teacher from the Ryu-Kyu archipelago (Okinawa), described by Minoru Mochizuki as the son of a Ryu-Kyu king. Station master at Saatchi station in Mongolia during the war, where he held 3rd dan in judo and trained daily with Mochizuki. Taught Mochizuki a karate style close to Shuri-te, on which Mochizuki based the kata Happoken.
