Oshima Sanjuro
Description
Last headmaster of Gyokushin-ryu jujutsu, an old style known for its sutemiwaza (sacrifice throws). Taught Minoru Mochizuki in Tokyo in the mid-1920s; distressed that the classical jujutsu styles were disappearing, he insisted Mochizuki study so the art would not die with him.
