JA wiki (Monna Tadashi, citing Domoto Akihiko's Meiji Gekken-ka) attributes the Shin Tamiya-ryū battojutsu at Tobukan specifically to Kozawa Ichirō, Torakichi's eldest son; kenshi247 attributes both Tobukan arts to Torakichi - the more specific claim is modeled and the conflict recorded.

The evidence favours the claim and nothing credible contradicts it, but it falls short of establishing it.
